Welcome to Bedouin Star's Realm

We are a newly formed multi-style Belly Dance troupe in Omaha, Nebraska.

Isis, (right) the director and instructor, has studied Belly Dance since 1999 with Della Bynum and performed professionally with Della's troupe, the Lotus Dancers. Her resume is available for viewing.

As an instructor, Isis tries to convey information to her students that will allow them to become highly skilled dancers, but more importantly, to become respectable dancers. Nothing learned in Bedouin Star classes will resemble that of a stripping 101 class, pole dancing, popular or degrading music videos, or the Hollywood stereotype of Belly Dance.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: THE BEDOUIN STAR CLASS DRESS CODE

Midriffs, tube tops, short shorts, shirts that are so small that lifting your arms will expose your abdomen, and extremely low cut jeans/pants are prohibited in class.
