Bachelorette Belly Dance Party

• An hour and a half in length
  
• Complimentary coin belt for the bride to be
  
• Must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance
• Participants receive 20% discount off coin belts in the Boutique
• Minimum of 5 participants, maximum of 25 participants
• Participants under 19 years of age require parental signature
• Consuming alcohol previous to attending the party is prohibited and inebriated participants will be removed without refund
  
• Must take place at the Bedouin Star Studio
• It is the responsibility of the party organizer to collect funds and make payment
  
• Must be paid in full when booked
• Payment via PayPal (I will send an invoice once booked) or in studio by check (please make checks payable to Bedouin Star)

What to expect at a workshop

• One month’s worth of class information compacted into two hours
• Students will be corrected and encouraged
• The instructor assumes students at least know the basics
• Additional time will not be allotted to explain the basics
• Students will not master the subject(s) being taught In a workshop
• Students will receive very little individual attention
• Some students attend workshops to gain as much information as possible and others may feel overwhelmed by the amount of information presented
• Please take into account that each student is an individual and learns differently but the instructor cannot offer workshops specifically tailored to individual need

What to expect from a class

• One month’s worth of information evenly distributed throughout the month
• Students will be corrected and encouraged
• The instructor assumes that students do not know the basics
• Additional time will be allotted to explain the basics
• Over time and through practicing outside of class, students will master the subject(s) being taught in a class
• Students will receive much more individual attention than during a workshop
• Some students may feel intimidated in class but please remember that even higher level students were once in your dance shoes

What to expect from private lessons

• Students are permitted to learn at their own pace as distributed throughout how ever many private lessons the student elects to scheduled
• Students will be corrected and encouraged
• The instructor will assess your level of dance knowledge with an interview and may request a dance resume
• As much time as is required will be dedicated to explaining the basics, if necessary, or higher level dance subjects
• Over time, through working with the instructor, and practicing outside of class, students will master the subject(s) being taught in a class
• Students will receive extensive individual attention

The importance of consistency

• Once you begin attending Belly dance class and you decide to pursue it seriously, it is vital that you attend lessons as often as possible
• If your teacher frequently cancels or reschedules class, find another teacher
• Attending class "off and on" for two years does not mean you've been studying the dance for two years (you've probably attended 6 months of actual lessons)
• You cannot improve without attending class
